Upcoming events

A reminder that we have two meetings coming up shortly. On Saturday 14th April, our favourite practice nurse, John Moore along with Rachel Hall, a local pharmacist, are coming to discuss treatments for Type 2 diabetes. We meet at the Beechwood Centre, Beechwood Road, Fishponds, BS16 3TR between 2 and 4 pm. The meetings are informal with lots of opportunities to ask questions and to meet others with diabetes. Family and friends are welcome.

On Tuesday 17th April the Central group for people with Type 1 diabetes is meeting at the Brewer's Fayre Premier Inn, on the corner of Lower Maudlin St and Lewins Mead. It is close to Bristol Central bus station. This is a chance to meet others socially with Type 1 in a relaxed atmosphere. We talk about many things, sometimes, but not always, diabetes. Again, friends and family are welcome.
